'Stenton-on-Spey' represents a new
departure for the gallery. From 28 December 2003 to 2 January 2004 inclusive,
we shall be mounting an exhibition as part of the Boat of Garten Winter
Festival in Highland region.
This will be our first foray into the area, which holds a special place in our
hearts, and will take the Stenton name still further afield. In this temporary
space, we hope to meet new art devotees from round about, and perhaps even
catch up with existing customers on holiday in the area.
What will remain unchanged however is the quality of work on display, mainly by
Scottish or Scottish-based artists. This is a mixed show of paintings in
various media plus original prints, with exhibitors ranging from young emerging
artists to well-established names. Artists will include: Sylvia Allen, Ruth
Brownlee, Sarah Carrington, Stephen Carruthers, Willie Fulton, Dugald MacInnes,
Charles MacQueen RSW RGI, Patricia Sadler, Campbell Sandilands, Wendy
Sutherland, Callum Whitelaw and Bill Wright RSW RGI PAI.
