How to find Stenton Gallery

The map below is for general guidance only as updated maps are not yet available. New access roads to Stenton are now in place - particularly in relation to the new and old A1.

• Coming from the Edinburgh direction follow the City Bypass as far as the A1 then head East (ie towards Berwick upon Tweed). Stenton is reached by continuing to the Thistly Cross roundabout and following the signs off to the right for the gallery. The gallery (and its large car park) is on your right at the far end of the village.

Alternatively you can exit the A1 at Haddington onto the A199 and follow the signs for East Linton. Continue until you pass the sliproad for East Linton on the left. (Do not go into East Linton.) The only sign for Stenton is on the righthand side of the road opposite the roundabout sign. The gallery is well signposted from this junction and our large car park is on your left at the start of the village.

Coming from the South follow the A1 for Edinburgh until you reach the Thistly Cross roundabout and follow the signs off to the left for Stenton.The gallery (and its large car park) is on your right at the far end of the village.

Those approaching on the A199 should go straight ahead at the roundabout near East Linton. The signpost for Stenton is next on the left.
