ARTISTS' LUNCH

A group of painters and printmakers based in the Tayside area. The founders were a small scattered number mainly living in remote parts of Angus and Aberdeenshire. Their aim was to strengthen the ties of friendship by meeting at regular intervals and arranging to have occasional exhibitions together. Lunchtime was sociable and convenient, so the group was named "The Artists' Lunch". Today the group has expanded. Now nearly ten years old it still holds to the original aims.
