Six Sisters of the Karoo
The desert can be an unforgiving landscape. To the north of the Karoo, the harshness of the vast Kalahari desert saw testament to the end of a nomadic way of life for the Bushmen there. I wanted to focus instead on the beauty of the desert, on the positive emotions it instilled within me. Joyful, Playful, Passion, Mystical, Soulful, Peaceful.
